Name:
The AMIDEX Investment Services Index |
Description:
The AMIDEX Investment Services Index (AMISI) is a new equity benchmark for companies in the brokerage and investment management businesses. |
Rationale:
Many financial services indices exist, but tend to blur together brokerage and investment management services with banking, insurance, lending, financing, and other industries. The AMIDEX Investment Services Index focuses only on brokerage services and mutual fund management services, and is the benchmark for the performance of this industry group.
Background:
There are now more than 11,000 mutual funds and over 10,000 publicly traded stocks in America. Individual investment continues to soar, and as the population ages and pension funding accelerates, more and more money will flow into an ever-increasing array of financial products.
Methodology:
The AMISI index combines the largest brokerage firms and investment management companies publicly traded in the US. TNI applies proprietary objective selection and liquidity standards to the final determination of the index participating companies. |
The AMIDEX Investment Services Index was developed and is owned by TransNations Investments, LLC, the developer of the AMIDEX35 Index of Israeli stocks, and the AMIDEX Israel Technology Index, the benchmark for Israeli technology stocks traded on the NASDAQ.
Indexes are not investment products available for purchase. Check back to this site often for updates about investment products based on TNIs indexes.
