AMIDEX™ Aviation Index Fundamentals

Name: The AMIDEX Aviation Index

Code: AMAVX

Description: The AMIDEX Aviation Index is an equity benchmark for aviation, aerospace and air transportation companies traded on U.S. Exchanges.

Rationale: There has been a staggering increase in the volume of air traffic.  The ever-increasing demand for aircraft, aviation electronics and equipment will be met by a select group of companies.  Air carriers, air delivery services, airport servicing companies will join the aircraft equipment companies in benefiting from the trend in air travel and traffic.  The AMIDEX Aviation Index is unique in that in includes not only the air carriers, but also the infrastructure and support companies that facilitate the expansion of the aviation industry.  Rather than speculating on which companies will dominate the sector, the AMIDEX Aviation Index uses a market capitalization methodology to include and intelligently weight the largest companies in the sector.

Methodology: The AMIDEX™ Aviation is a market capitalization weighted index, consisting of the 35 highest capitalized aviation, aerospace and air transportation companies publicly traded on U.S. Exchanges. Bloomberg L.P. independently calculates and publishes the AMIDEX™ Aviation Index.

The AMIDEX Investment Services Index was developed and is owned by TransNations Investments, LLC, the developer of the AMIDEX35 Index of Israeli stocks, and the AMIDEX Israel Technology Index, the benchmark for Israeli technology stocks traded on the NASDAQ.
